Tending the Threshold Death, Dying, Grief, Spiritual Experience & the Mystery Beyond Level 1: Foundational Course

Level 1: Foundational Course Tending the Threshold™ is a multidisciplinary spiritual education program exploring what happens when human beings approach death, experience grief, encounter unusual or spiritually meaningful phenomena, and search for meaning beyond the physical experience. The program examines the dying process through clinical research, palliative and hospice care, psychology, world religions, death-doula experience, spiritual traditions, and April Michelle’s own spiritual and consciousness-based perspective—without requiring the student to accept any single explanation of what happens after death. This course is not about avoiding grief, rushing healing, or spiritual bypassing. It is about learning how to tend the threshold between loss and transformation with depth, structure, compassion, and meaning. For coaches, psychics, mediums, energy healers, counselors, death doulas, spiritual practitioners, and guides, this is essential foundational training. Your clients are already navigating grief, loss, death, and transition, whether spoken or unspoken. This course gives you the language, structure, and integrative understanding needed to hold that space with greater confidence, professionalism, and compassion. For those ready to go deeper, this foundational course opens the door to the full certification program, where practitioners, clinicians, mystics, coaches, mediums, healers, and leaders can learn to guide others through grief and transition with authority, compassion, and mastery.
